Peugeot were designing salt and pepper mills long before they were making cars. Their history begins in the 19th century with the manufacturing of items such as pepper and coffee grinders. More than 160 years later, Peugeot grinders still set the standard in the kitchens of the greatest chefs.

They have a wide product range which includes manual and electric grinders in designs to suit every household. Whats more, all of the Peugeot grinding mechanisms have a lifetime guarantee.

Steel is at the heart of the fabulous Peugeot story. In 1840, Peugeot creates the first grinding mechanism that will quickly become the gold standard in the art of processing spices. uSelect : A great innovation
When it comes to salt and pepper, everyone has their own preferences in adjusting the seasoning in their food. Peugeot now offers this facility with its patented u’Select system, which has several pre-selectable grind settings.

From coarsely ground pepper or salt to the very fine, u’Select offers pre-set adjustments:

Simplicity: just turn the ring at the base of the mill and select one of the positions, each one corresponds to a consistent grind size.
The further you turn the ring, the finer or coarser the grind, depending on the direction turned.

Precision: no risk that the grind will change during use.

The right grind : You are assured the grind will be the perfect match for each dish.
