Butter Muslin Cloth

Muslin cloth is an unbleached, natural material making it ideal for use in the kitchen. Muslin is a finely-woven fabric often used when filtering stocks or consommés, making jellies or cheeses, or even filtering the sediment out of red wine and port before pouring it into a decanter. A Muslin is also used to wrap meat during the curing process, as the fine, mesh-like fabric lets air in, but keeps insects out. This enormous roll of muslin roll will last for ages, proving great value for money. Muslin is a reusable material if looked after properly. Rinse in cold water after using the cloth, and then machine wash with an unscented detergent. Muslin can be boiled to sterilize it. 50 metre roll.
