Made from machine cut hardened carbon steel, the mechanism cuts and strips peppercorns to break them into smaller pieces to slowly release a more intense pepper flavour, whilst the diamond sharp ceramic salt mechanism is able to precisely grind course sea slat perfectly year after year. With a spring loaded mechanism the mills can be adjusted for fine or course grinding.
